1. Korean Honey Taffy (Yeot)

It is called ‘Yeot’, a base material of ‘Honey Cotton Candy Bites’, is one of Korean traditional snack. It is a nutrition food made from crops and fruits. There are several types of ‘Yeot’;

• Mool Yeot: It is a  first stage of Crop syrup from the Crop such like Rice.

• Jo-Chung: It is a form of thick liquid made from ‘Mool-Yeot’ by boiling.

• Gang Yeot: It is a harden shape of Candy from Jo-Chung by Boiling and Resting.

• Rice Yeot: It is the basic form of the candy. This is because rice is the basic material for making it.

• Corn Yeot, Pumpkin Yeot, Sesame Yeot, and more: They are depends on the cooking material and resting method of the Candy.

 

2. Korean Honey Cotton Candy Bites

We don’t know where it is from, however, most likely, it must come from Chinese ‘Dragon’s Beard Candy’ which has far more history than Korean one.

Base Yeot is cured for  days to pulle out, like a yarm,  more than 16,000 strings of honey with variety of filling such as an organic tangerines, green tea powder, peanuts, almonds, Walnuts, pine nuts, sesame seeds, and etc. mixed with our own production grain.

 

4. How is the Taste?

Yes, it is good and sweet. However, it is not so sweet since it has been cured and treated by threat type of string. Thus it is a favorable snack for old people who doesn’t eat much sweeties as well as kids.
